The ASEAN Gems and Jewellery Trade Association (AGJA), together with senior executives from government and private sectors, visited Dubai to promote the Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair and discussed trade and investment channels in the DMCC Free Economic Zone. They also met with buyers and importers to promote SME entrepreneurs in the gem and jewelry group to enter the Middle East market.

on June 25-27, led by Mr. Phusit Rattanakul Sereeroengrit, Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), and Mr. Sumet Prasongpongchai, Director General of the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (Public Organization) or GIT, along with senior executives and representatives of the Thai private sector in the gem and jewelry group. Mr. Boonlert Siripatvanich and Mr. Jaradul Tulyagijja, Vice Presidents of the ASEAN Gems and Jewellery Trade Association. Also joined the delegation to visit the United Arab Emirates during the aforementioned period to promote the gem and jewelry industry and expand the export market for Thai products, in line with the national strategy to make Thailand the world’s gem and jewelry trade hub.
